Welcome to the Website, K. V. No.4, Bhubaneswar. Kendriya Vidyalaya is a pace-setting and trend-setting institution under the Department of Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt. of India. It is a civil sector school started in the year 2003 in a temporary building having single section from class I to V . In the year 2013 it has shifted to new permanent building of “B Type” and in due course It has become a two section school from classes I to X and XI, XII having Science stream. In the session 2018-19, it has converted one section Science at 10+2 level to Commerce stream and now it is having two section of XI and XII Science and Commerce one each.
The new reform policies adopted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has given a new lease of life to Kendriya Vidyalaya and today its mosaic has the hues of human values.

The Vidyalaya has developed its glorious position among neighbouring schools.This is all because of our academic achievements and achievements in all other fields of activities aim not only at the academic excellence but to see that a child grows with all round developed personality and turns into a disciplined citizen of India.
MISSION
The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four-fold mission viz:-
1.To cater to the educational needs of children to Transferable Central Government employees including defence and paramilitary personnel by providing a common programme of education.
2.To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
3.To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE and NCERT etc..
